So my unborn son won't be the first big name to grace the SWAC and that's cool. My boy D. Carter did say the only way this could work was if this very moment become reality and it has! Damn it son, I don't think I've ever been this happy for the ops! Second biggest headline in the SWAC. Another Sanders has committed to being apart of the SWACtion (I used the term first)!
“I couldn’t pass up a(n) opportunity to help level the playing field & pursue equality for (historically black college and universities," he wrote. “Dad I got your back!” My unborn better say something along these lines when he signs his golf scholarship!

Shedeur Sanders, son of the new head coach of the Jackson State program has definitely shaken up the college football landscape for sure. The impact they will bring to HBCU sports can't really be put into words honestly. I mean how often does a father, son combo yielding 2 TXHS football state titles; end up reunited but as head coach and potentially the QB of a university?
Now of course this doesn't mean Shedeur will be attending JSU just yet. It should be noted that Shedeur was initially committed to play at Florida Atlantic University before so this should go to show you just how meaningless a commitment or a verbal commit can be. But outside of Makur Maker, the 5-star basketball player who also has committed to the Mecca of HBCU's, Howard University and now Shedeur, we see a deeper meaning behind the commits. These young men are out for change. Striving to be the change of their generation and how HBCU's are viewed. You want proof. Moments after Shedeur made his commitment, 3-star WR Herman Smith out of San Diego made his commitment official as well to Jackson State.
Now let's talk sports. the 6'1 198 pound pro style QB has amassed 8,925 yards passing, 123 touchdowns and 19 interceptions tacked on with rushing for198 yards and 22 touchdowns according to Tom VanHaaren of ESPN. Not to shabby for the kid who works with Tom Brady during his down time but one thang fa show, two thangs I KNOW." I've never seen a SWAC QB who can't do it with they legs.

The SWAC currently has two big names in the passing game. 6'5 215 A'queel Glass of Alabama State who lead the conference in passing and ranked in the top 10 in the FCS with 3,600 yards and 32 TDs. And my boy, Felix "Triggerman" Harper, who lead Alcorn State to yet another SWAC title and HBCU National Championship appearance with 2,954 TDs passing and 33 TDs.
Now again I say, it's no telling if Shedeur makes this official on signing day and he's still got some time to make his final decision as all the SWACtion starts Spring of 2021. But you can tell 'em I said this and quote me on this, "Deon, Neon, your car need freon, Braves by fowty!"
